CrossRoads Missions--Joe Wilson

CrossRoads Missions is a doorway for churches and individuals seeking ministry opportunities in places they may otherwise have difficulty serving.  We accomplish this goal by bringing people of all ages into missions in the United States and foreign fields.  Mission teams who participate with us are involved in multiple areas of ministry including:  construction, medical missions, education, discipleship, evangelism, worship, and disaster relief.

CrossRoads Missions enhances existing local ministries, supporting them with additional resources they may be unable to provide.  Our service achieves its highest level of effectiveness by working alongside these ministries so that when we leave, the ministry of Jesus does not.

Joe Wilson, former ODCC member, is a Project Manager.

Chaplaincy Endorsement Commission
The Commission makes endorsement for ministers of Christian Churches and churches of Christ who feel called to serve in the military and other chaplaincies requiring instruments of endorsement. They advise, assist, and process applications for endorsement. This process includes investigation and examination of all credentials. Endorsements for Chaplaincy service are made only with the consensus of the twelve commissioners. The Commission’s services include a program of visitation, assistance, and moral support for chaplains. They act as a coordinating and communication service between chaplains, their employing institutions, and the churches and schools which qualify them for Chaplaincy service. For more information, check out their website at www.cec-chap.org.

Missions

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  -Matthew 28:19-20

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"  -Romans 10:14-15
